The selected candidate, reporting directly to General Management, will be responsible for managing the purchasing department and ensuring the procurement of all categories of goods and services. They will collaborate with the Technical/Quality Department to identify and certify relevant suppliers.

Below is a summary of the main operational and strategic duties:

  • Plans purchases based on company needs and Supply Chain requirements to ensure consistent performance of procurement processes.
  • Manages Order Delivery (OdA).
  • Handles imports and customs clearance.
  • Oversees strategic supplier scouting and benchmarking of new suppliers (both domestic and international).
  • Develops and implements Vendor Rating tools.
  • Creates a panel of KPIs for their area of responsibility.
  • Manages negotiations, monitors deliveries, invoicing, and supplier payment terms for both products and services.
  • Oversees the annual budget for direct and indirect purchases.
  • Is responsible for reducing purchasing costs within the assigned budget and improving delivery times.
  • Supervises the adherence to supplier agreements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Availability for business trips across Europe and the Far East.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics and the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and G Suite tools.

Compensation: Based on experience.
